Do you live in Mumbai.... and that too South of Mantralaya, if yes you must be aware of this beautiful colony - BADHWAR PARK.
Badhwar Park houses the official residences of Senior (and I mean really Senior) Officers of the Indian Railways. It is one of the oldest gated colonies of South Mumbai having one of the best infrastructure.
Builders are coming up with the concept of intergrated townships offering all amenities i.e. Clubhouse, Pool, Gym etc, of late.
Badhwar Park built some 60 years ago had all this and more, all this while.
Unfortunately, in this city cramped for space, the open spaces in Badhwar Park are slowly getting converted into HOTSPOTs.
I literally mean hotspots.
If a south mumbai boy needs to cuddle up to a girl, they quitely slip into one of the lush green gardens in BP. Do the cuddly ~ cuddly things and vampose.
Unfortunately, all this happens in full public view of all the residents big an small and no one objects.
Even Uniformed Railway Protection Force jawans entrusted with the job of safety and security of the colony turn a blind eye.
What are these people waiting for? Why dont they nip it in the bud?
Are they waiting for some outsider to come and misbehave/ molest and female resident of BP before they act. Will they even then?
DOES SOMEONE CARE?
